Aronia Overture

The Aronia M. Overture is the human attempt to assist the Aronia Melanocarpa (Chokeberry) in expressing its essence and relations to its ambient environment: an abandoned State-run plantation on the edge of a shrinking town.

Part of the Overture is the “Unchoir”, a constellation of berry sounds produced by humans. In a 3-hour workshop guided by composer/musician Ruta Vitkauskaite participants explore and discover new sounds within themselves – pushed by Aronia m.
