Before taking down the exhibition `Shifting Scales – from microbial matter to microbes that matter!´ the finissage provided a dialogue between the participating artists, philosopher Kristien Hens and visitors.

Place: Foyer Brantijser,  Sint Jacobsmarkt 13, Antwerp

Program:

• Pointy response presentation – by Kristien Hens: Departing from her recent book „Denken met microben” published in 2025, with insights from philosophy, biology and ethics, Prof. Kristien Hens will reflect on the works and research inside Shifting Scalesexhibition.

• Discussion – with the participation of artists and researchers Bart HM Vandeput (Bartaku), Christina Stadlbauer, Jonas van Ghyselen, Kristien Hens, Matthijs de Block, Nele Buyst and Marjan de Mey.
